why don't all the images load?

this site is very image heavy, so please keep refreshing (do not "hard" refresh, this clears your cache!) the page. your browser saves a copy of already loaded/cached images and will quickly show those again, focusing on loading images that haven't been cached yet. if anything stil doesn't load, please try troubleshooting by rightclicking the missing image and opening it in a new tab by itself. does it load there? if not, and you're an advanced user, you can check the developer tools' console to see what error happened. if you aren't advanced, you can skip this step and refer me to the page with the missing image via one of my contact links below so i can repair the link!

where can i contact you?

you can contact me on my tumblr , my stellular account, discord (if you know it, dont ask for it), or my email! i prefer not to be contacted elsewhere for starrypixels matters as to keep my personal space separate from here!

what is this site for? how is it different from other resource sites?

starrypixels is a compilation of curated online resources from all over the web, with a lot of it being from the internet archive or older resources, that are hard to sift through or find passed around today.

how is that different from other graphics resources? well, a lot of them put a focus on modern resources only, and exclude things that look too "old" whether that be due to lack of access or aesthetic reasons. i aim to provide a balanced approach, handpicking the best of both worlds to try to give you all an easy to navigate and varied experience.

of course, with so many resources i used to make this archive, its no surprise that i may have missed a ToS (or just misplaced it when I archived it), or found it from a secondhand source who also didn't credit it, and so on, so please contact me for removals/credits if you see anything uncredited! if there isn't at minimum a link back on the resources page, i promise it is an accident, although the goal is to link back to the sites individually for each image too, when they require credit, at least. (as doing so for every image when it isnt required is a lot of work)

well, there's actually a lot you can do to help me out!

• if you see anything that needs credit and doesn't have it, or anything that doesn't allow reposting at all, please do let me know!
  as you may know, people repost things without their original source all the time, let alone anyway to find those rules or TOS attached. i try to link every single resource I've used in my resources page, but i know I'm missing a lot due to this widespread problem!
• which brings me to my next point: i'm hoping to eventually also have a "references" citation at the bottom of each page, if possible. or at the very least, get some outgoing links so that when y'all hover over a cool goodie, you can see who exactly it's from! so if you want to help out with that, please let me know!
• finally, if you see anything placed in the wrong category or a repeat of the same image on the same page (some images will be repeated across categories), please let me know as well. thanks so much!
